Who Are We?
Elim Catford Church began as a home cell group led by Pastor Fred in 1994, as part of Elim Church Camberwell under Rev. Dr. Sam Larbie.
Elim Pentecostal Church Catford is part of the wider Elim Pentecostal movement in Britain and overseas, supporting mission work around the world.
The name Elim comes from Exodus 15:27, where Elim was a place with twelve springs and seventy palm trees—a place of refreshment and shelter in the wilderness.
In the same way, our church seeks to be a place of hope, refreshment and shelter for people facing the challenges of life, while helping them grow and discover God through the teaching of God’s Word.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled and welcoming church where people can encounter God, grow in faith, discover their purpose and make a difference in the world around them.
We desire to reach people with the love of Jesus, build strong families and communities, equip believers to serve, and raise disciples who live out their faith every day.
As a church family, we want to love God, love people, share the Gospel and bring hope to our community and beyond.
